Any news in the PGR 5 rumor mill?

 

By info I gathered that was posted within the last couple months it still looks like Turn10 will be going the next one. Although MS owns PGR, Bizarre owns the Kudos system. Activison has told Bizarre that they want a racing game and to do it the way Bizarre wants. My understanding is Bizarre wanted the same Kudos system from PGR2 in PGR4 but MS said NO. At the time Bizarre left MS they were working on PGR5 and still are but will have a different name. So I expect a racing game from Bizarre sometime next year and will be done the way they want it.

Damn Micrsoft, they really stink sometimes.  Interesting times ahead for PGR 5 (or whatever it will be called) and what Bizarre will do next for a racing game.

ohhh my god the guy who said imagine pgr5 made by turn 10 hasnt got a clue if it will happen it was a WHAT IF,  not a turn10 will make it sorry to be a pooper but turn10 is tied up until summer next year and thats if forza3 hits on its scheduled realese date which we all know it wont. it would be excellent if turn 10 did make it,  but would they try to polish it up losing that massive amount of difference in speed if they do then pgr5 will have real trouble because without the tuning and paint and all the extras you get with forza auction house and such it will be a rent and not buy title,  if they add the tuning and paint auctions etc then its not pgr5 PGR = ARCADE RACER

The lastest news is that in the next 2 weeks it will be announced that Turn10 will be doing the next PGR. Haven't heard anything about a release date but I'm sure it will be after Forza3 comes out. As for Bizarre Creations, they're racing game is due out Dec. 09 or early 2010, by what I hear it will kick butt. This time Bizarre is making the game the way they want and nobody is telling them what to do. It was Microsofts idea for Bizarre to ruin PGR4 for putting limitations on things like Kudos. Right now I'm looking forward to Race Pro, which a demo will be out within a couple months.

Keep us posted Mongoose... it will be interesting to see what happens with PGR 5 and Bizarre's next racing title.
