My point still stands though. So in your case you used to be a racer and now you are a gamer.
I'm guessing in the future the difference between the two might become more and more blurred, but for now they (to me at least) are too different for someone playing a game to talk about themselves or other gamers in the same way as a racing driver.
I was only being picky just for the rofl. But it's raised a good point.
