PGR Nations

I think PGR4 can still mix it with the other newer and more shiny arcade racers out there.

I have seem people still play online.

Are there other that still love PGR4?

After a Forza 3 time out i went back to pgr 4. For a moment i thought forza 3 will decently take it to the next level , but they didn’t, its a great single player exp. but lacks the fun multiplayer. Pgr 4 still has the top notch weather effects and enough cars to stay on the top of the arcde-sim olymp and even online it still offers more racing options then any current racer!

This forum kind of died a while ago dow....but the game still continues to have enough people playing it. Tourneys and custom races always have enough player’s!

For me PGR 4 ist still my Nr 1. Many don’t even realize that Blizzard did it all with this game- great tracks, cars, bikes, weather effects, good graphics... what do we want more...

I really like Forza 3 and see it as a sim whereas PGR4 is pure arcade fun.

I went online with PGR4 last night (GMT +0) and found people, though not many, still on there racing. I had a blast.

The bikes and the weather on PGR really add variety. I'll go online more with PGR as long as there are enough people there to race with.

PS There are rumours of a PGR5... cool if it happens

Ya ok PGR4 beats out Forza hands down. Personally i dont like slowing down to 30mph for a corner. Also, to me Forza 3's cars were not easy to handle and to me the game was made kind of poorly. PGR4 to me is more of a well rounded game for experienced racers as well as beginers. Who wants to take 2 hours trying to tune their car for a specific track,NOT ME. All i wanna to is pick a car and race.

well the games still good however the tourney points situation is not so good, I won 2 tours sunday and either monday or tuesday and didn't get the points so whats the point.....well unless someone still controls it and has remove my points for a reason.... if so explain urselfs

You have to wait at least 30 seconds after the race has ended before you press the A button, or else you won't get your points for the win. I dont know why it does that but i have wone like 30 tournaments and because i did not wait 30 seconds after the race, im only credited for 25 tournament wins.

I haven't played PGR4 in a while and probably won't until a new PGR game is officially announced.
I play DiRT2 most of the time now and I enjoy it a fair bit for the Arcade Fun. PGR4 is/was (not sure if they still play) full of arrogant and egotistical arseholes who can't accept that its just a game (xSSx Marmite for example...). The game got to a point for me where I was playing the same guys continuously and either winning each or losing each (Depending on the player) and after that there really was no point to continue playing the game.

As of now there will not be another PGR. But the makers of PGR do have a new racing game coming out called BLUR and the demo is available on the dashboard.
